Beberapa Remote Application Windows

Dibalik sebuah kejengkelan ternyata ada hikmah juga. Gara-gara dapat kerjaan buat nemenin orang ke ruang server jadi dapat ilmu baru.
Jengkelnya sih bukan karena orang yang ditemenin tapi karena pas dijalan ada Pak Polisi yang mau tilang saya, tapi ga jadi. Alhamdulillah. Wis lupakan masalah polisi.
Gini gara-gara tadi jadi tahu aplikasi buat remote dekstop yang biasanya dipakai para pakar untuk mengendalikan server (windows). Diantaranya :
1. Remote Dekstop, Aplikasi bawaan windows buat remote. Dah tahu semua lah.
2. Ultra VNC, Aplikasi remote windows bukan bawaan tapi memang sip buat remote windows. Bisa didapat disini http://www.uvnc.com. Di download aja. Install buat klien dan servernya.
3. Logme In, Apliakasi remote windows juga ( ini yang baru aku tau ). Sepertinya aplikasi ini koneksi melalui mca address pada hardware ethernet. Download dulu dari sumbernya https://secure.logmein.com lalu install di server dan klien.Tapi belum nyoba sih, mungkin lain waktu.

Sebenernya sih ada banyak sekali aplikasi windows untuk remote, tapi dari pengalamanku dan apa-apa yang pernah aq liat kebanyakan menggunakan aplikasi itu.

Sedikit tentang Conficker/Downandup/Kido

Tentunya nama worm ini sudah tidak asing lagi bagi para pengguna komputer. conficker itu malware, malware itu kerjanya menyusup lewat celah keamanan/security windows-server. nama kerennya Win32/Conficker atau W32.Downadup atau Net-Worm.Win32.Kido.eo dll.
sedikit ciri PC yang kena malware ini :
- Jaringan terasa lambat
- Muncul ginian “Generic Host For Win32 Service”, peringatan adanya kerusakan service windows
- Service server svchost.exe ada yang aneh karena dah rusak sama malware ini
- fasilitas show/hidden files and folders tidak bekerja, kalaupun bisa di-cek tapi bila di liat lagi ternyata sudah di-uncek lagi.

Sifat2 conficker :

1. Karakter sembunyi
- Membuat file-file dan directori2 yang terprogram attribute “hidden”
- Mengatur waktu file dengan file time dari “%System%/kernel32.dll”
- Malcode membuat registry : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL dan CheckedValue=o
- Mereset System Restore
- Mengsuntikkan dirinya ke proses svchost.exe, explorer.exe, services.exe
2. Auto Run
- Membuat service untuk mengaktifkan “droped DLL” pada saat restart
- Ketika service ini tidak jalan dia akan membuat autostart registry entry.
3. Menghentikan beberapa service windows
4. menyebarkan copy dirinya pada jaringan dan FD
5. Masuk lewat celah security windows ms08-067

Sedikit pencegahan :

- Donlot patch security windows ms08-067 dari microsoft
- Update antivirus PC
- Matikan autorun ( kayaknya ga terlalu pengaruh sih )

catatan: kalao mau cleaning worm ini matikan dulu jaringannya(copot kabel/matiin wireless)

Laptop murah asal India

Kabar bagus buat yang kepingin punya laptop/notebook harga miring, tampaknya akan didukung dengan OS linux. Harga dari sono sih US $10 untuk pasaran, tapi kalo udah masuk indonesia harganya ga tahu berapa. Moga aja jadi revolusi IT seperti yang di bahas di forum ubuntu indonesia, seperti yang terjadi juga pada kendaraan bermotor “bajaj”. Amin. Kita tunggu saja tengah tahun 2009 (rencananya….)

India Unveils Sakshat, the $20 Laptop
Promises to reduce price to just $10

As expected, India’s $20 laptop was officially unveiled yesterday,
despite ongoing worries that the device won’t become available at that
price point. Officials responsible for what is now known as the
“Sakshat” laptop have declared that this portable system will be
priced at $10. Availability is slated for six months after the laptop
goes into mass production.

The Sakshat, which is the fruit of a project that was meant to provide
an alternative to OLPC’s XO laptop, is expected to come with 2GB of
memory, which can be expanded. The system is said to boast Wi-Fi and
fixed Ethernet capability and consume no less than 2 watts of power.
As mentioned in previous articles, the laptop was designed as an
educational tool and is the result of a project that involved the
cooperative effort of the Indian government and academic institutions.

“A lot of testing has to be done to ensure that the technology works
properly,” said R.P. Agrawal, India’s Higher Education Secretary,
according to Indian media sources. “Once the testing is over, the
computers will be made available on commercial basis. The target is to
make it available in six months’ time.” he added.

Currently, there are no available details on the processor or RAM
memory of the Sakshat, but it is expected that it will provide a
simple version of a Linux-based open source operating system. There
are still questions regarding the financial details on said laptop,
given that the price tag of an LCD could easily top the price point of
the overall system. In addition, there are claims that the laptop is
just part of an electoral campaign, as India will soon see some
important elections.

OLPC’s XO laptop started the media buzz around the low-cost system
designed for educational purposes. It was this project that led to the
announcement of the Sakshat, which will likely compete with OLPC’s
product.

Cek Koneksi Internet Pake CMD Windo**

perintah-perintah pada Command Prompt yang berhubungan dengan jaringan komputer.

1. ipconfig /all Menampilkan informasi konfigurasi koneksi, misalnya Host Name, Primary DNS Type, Ethernet Adapter LAN.

2. ipconfig /flushdns Menghapus DNS Cache

3. ipconfig /release “Menghapus” semua koneksi IP Address.

4. ipconfig /renew Membuat IP Address baru untuk adapter tertentu.

5. ipconfig /displaydns Menampilkan DNS Cache.

6. ipconfig /registerdns Melakukan refresh DNS dan meregister kembali koneksi DNS.

7. ipconfig /showclassid Menampilkan informasi DHCP Class.

8. ipconfig /setclassid Mengubah DHCP Class ID

9. control netconnections Menampilkan Network Connection.

10. nslookup Mengetahui alamat ip address dari nama domain yang di tuliskan

11. netstat Menampilkan informasi koneksi TCP/IP yang sedang aktif.

12. route Menampilkan local route.

13. hostname Menampilkan nama komputer.

14. ping Contoh: ping www.finderonly.com Melakukan test koneksi ke situs www.finderonly.com. Semakin sedikit % loss-nya maka semakin baik koneksinya.

15. tracert Menampilkan informasi IP Address route.
